Beautiful Madison came to me after her mother was referred by another client of mine. (Thank you Angela for the referral. It’s the best compliment I could receive as a photographer). Her mother and I discussed what Madison was envisioning to make her session custom and specialized to show her personality and the passions in her life.
We met on a sultry summer’s morning at the farm where she boards her horse May. What a wonderful pair these two make. Madison worked the night before with May to make sure she was gorgeous for this morning. We started in the barn with some shadow photos to express the love and respect between the two. We wandered down the path to find some wonderful green areas for backdrops. May was very patient even though she was getting tired of the flies. We took May back to her friends in the pasture. Madison and I began to walk around and find other areas of the farm to capture some photos of just her. The fence and the barn provided the perfect solution.
We gathered our things and headed down the road to beautiful downtown York. Specifically Cherry Lane. Cherry Lane offers so much in the way of colors, textures and variety for backdrops. Madison and chatted while we worked our way through the area. This girl’s smile matches her beauty. What great photos we captured together to document this very important time in her life.
