My oh my Logan. You sure have grown so fast this past year. I can hardly believe you’re one year old already. I’m sure mommy & daddy feel the same way, only 1000 times more than I. It seems just like a few weeks ago I was working with you during your newborn session. The saying “time flies” sure does apply to you this first year.
I was excited to see Logan the day of his one year session. He is a master at the art of many faces. And this time was no exception. He made me laugh. Sometimes really hard! I also acted a bit silly at times because of his faces. We had the best time with every setup and all the props. Mom & dad brought some special family wooden blocks and wooden box for their dear sweet boy to play with. We also used the same setup as his newborn and six month session with the gray, white and yellow of his room. Shows just how much he has grown this past year. Mom & dad plan on displaying all the photos from that series on the walls in the family home. And I couldn’t be happier. Because having prints in your home is the best way to show the legacy you are building within your family.
We finished Logan’s session with his cat in the hat themed cake smash. Mom made the cake herself with red icing and red & blue cake. At first he didn’t have much interest. As you can see though he picked up steam. By the end he was a nice red color. Ha ha! By chance I happened to be wearing a red shirt that day so when we had our normal end of session cuddle time we blended together. Here is the photo that mom captured of us! LOVE IT!!!
I really enjoyed my time with Logan this past year. And even though I’m sad to see Logan’s first year end so quickly, I’m honored to have been chosen to capture his forever images of him. Take some time to enjoy a few my favorite photos from his session with me.
