The Schanbacher family, especially Colton, have become very special to me. Colton is a vivacious young boy with such personality. When I first met him, he had a serious aversion to my camera. As we spent time together over the course of other sessions, he began to trust me a bit more. This session was especially touching to me as we had a connection breakthrough. He took my hand and asked me to take his hand and help him search for dinosaurs! YES!!! Happy dance, happy dance!!! Those blue eyes could get me to do almost anything. I was over the moon to go dig in the dirt with sticks, trek through the brush, and inspect fallen logs.
As Colton and I experienced fun together, I also wanted to capture mom and dad. So Colton explored the surroundings as mom and dad had a few photos captured. We even managed to have Colton pose with mom and dad for a few photos before he was off and running again. And he really did go off and running! I kid you not. Take a look at the photos below and you’ll see one of him running that I captured.
It was a grand time on a summer Sunday afternoon. Take a peek at the photos below to see the adorable blue-eyed, blonde haired boy who has effectively captured my heart.
