York PA Child Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the three year session of Colton at Nixon Park in Jacobus, PA in October. The session was full of running, jumping, and crouching. This little man kept me hopping!
If I’ve come to learn anything about Colton, it’s that he’s full of energy and has his own thoughts. Spirited and knowing what he wants, that means I must get my exercise and be ready to up my game when it comes to negotiation skills. ::laughing loudly:: Seriously though, he’s a boy on a mission 90 percent of the time. In August during his family session, Colton enlisted my help to search for dinosaurs. We ran, ducked, crouched and other things during our search. So I knew for Colton’s third birthday session we would have a great adventure!
I met Colton in the parking lot and we trotted down the grassy hill and settled along the stream. Momma brought some REALLY big mylar balloons in silver and red for the number three. We worked with those for a while before Colton guided me through the actual beginning of the session. He knew what he wanted to do and what he didn’t. We worked our way along the split rail fence first. We passed through the gate to the garden area with winding paths. We walked around the area quite a few times, laughing all the way. Next we passed through another gate to run up the hill to the other gate and again winding our way through the garden.
We eventually made our way back to our staring area where we used the custom three easel that Momma brought along. And Momma and Colton had some photo time as well. The end of the session is always my favorite because I love to get hugs. I received a nice big hug from Colton. YAY!
