Meet newborn… Mr. Oliver!
Oliver’s momma and I have known each other for several years. I photographed his parents wedding a few years ago. And ever since they’ve been praying for a new peanut to come along. When I found out momma was expecting, I was over the moon! We had a conversation and decided to check back with each other approximately at her 32 week mark.
Momma and daddy had an in-studio consultation to plan Oliver’s custom and personalized newborn session. Some of the must haves were: Steelers (HUGE FANS!), a special knit hat made for him, and the newborn-sized red Flyer wagon I have. I was so excited when I was setting up. I couldn’t wait to meet the little guy.
Parents think I say this to all of them. But I don’t. Oliver totally ROCKED his session with me. He was a very content baby, who was in a milk coma most of his session. My assistant and I marveled at how well he let us pose him with not a care about it. We captured most of the Steelers photos in the beginning for momma and daddy. Much to their delight. They brought along daddy’s custom jersey and terrible towel. We then moved him to the knit hat and the gray setup. The colors on his hat showed wonderfully. We took a break for Oliver to eat and have an outfit change. This sweet nugget of goodness looked so awesome in the red Flyer wagon and his red plaid shirt and denim pants. I could have snuggled him the rest of the day.
As the last photos approached with daddy, momma put Oliver in his final Steelers onsie outfit. It was big on this little guy. Daddy held him so wonderfully. Such sweet, sweet photos of daddy and his baby boy. Enjoy a few my favorites from Oliver’s session.
