I could hardly believe it was time to photograph Nathan for his nine month milestone when I checked my client calendar. Wasn’t it just last week I saw him for his sitting up session? These children grow so darn fast!
Momma & I have been working together this year for all of Nathan’s milestone sessions. We’ve done his three month session and his sitting up session. Now it was time for his nine month session. These munchkins change so much in their first year. It’s important to this momma and daddy to document those changes with forever images.
Nathan is a wonderful boy. Usually he’s all smiles and happy then he comes to visit me in the studio. This session was no different. We started with him exploring a wood crate and the joys of sitting while I make faces to get him to giggle. I surely do get my exercise with kids. Crouching, jumping and sliding. We then moved to the soft fur that Nathan likes. He stood perfectly with the red ladder and climbed all over the suitcase. He seems to love my studio props. Up next was the faux leather chair where he was more interested in reading his book than looking at me. Ha! Finally we changed him into an outfit his grandparents chose for him to document his heritage. Isn’t he just adorable in that outfit?!?! I was sad to see the session end but I did get to snuggle for a brief moment before he left.
I’ll see you in three short months, sweet Nathan. We will celebrate your one year milestone. But don’t grow too fast. I can’t keep up with the tears of losing all my baby plan children. Please enjoy some of my favorite of his session below.
