York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured Spring Family Mini Sessions at a local orchard located in Hellam, PA. The day was one of the few warm, sunny days in late April before the cold, wet days of early May arrived. Each family brought a unique joy to the sessions, we had quite a few laughs, and plenty of smiles!
To say each of my family clients who came to the orchard for their family mini session was perfect, well… it sounds a bit cliché. However, it was so true this day. Once again I’m amazed at the truly wonderful and dynamic families I have the privilege to capture. This day was no exception. I arrived at the orchard to find the apple trees were so abundantly full of gorgeous white blossoms. I literally jumped up and down because I saw my visions coming to life before my eyes.
My husband and I excitedly unloaded the vehicle with the props I had available for use by the families. My guy is great, he’s so helpful. He even suggested the area in which we ultimately decided was the best in the entire area in which we were granted to work. As we took test shots for lighting and background, we even managed to have a bit of fun. Before we knew it, the first family had arrived.
Each session showcased the family, their personalities, and the fun that we all had together. Many of the images became some of my all-time favorites. I surely hope the parents will treasure the photos for a lifetime. By the time the last family had finished their session and we began to load the vehicle, my cheeks muscles began to feel the joy of the day. The smiles and laughter had done their job. I truly do love what I do and do what I love. The ride home was the best ever as my husband and I reviewed each session with joy and enthusiasm.
