LUCAS FAMILY SESSION | YORK, PA FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the Lucas Family at a picturesque park in York, PA. The family wanted to document the two year birthday milestone for Max and the family as well. Such a special time and we had fun the entire session!

The Lucas Family wanted to celebrate the 2 year milestone birthday of Max and also capture the family. Kristi and I have been working together for 2 years document the life of their family with forever photos. It’s one of the greatest rewards as a photographer when your clients return for these moments. And I am afforded the pleasure of watching the kids grow and develop their personalities along the way.

Time to get started with the Lucas Family session!

Maxwell is a two year old with the usual 180 degree turning mechanism built in to his personality. I wanted to start with him to make sure I captured him before he may not want to participate. He likes me for the most part, the part he doesn’t like so much is when the camera is blocking my face. Therefore, I make it a point to be quick and direct in photographing him. We captured some great, and fast photos, right away. Before long he wanted to be off doing his own thing. Determination surely describes this little guy. And utterly adorable as well!

Big brother Alex has a way with words. He can talk with me at great lengths discussing things he learned and things he wants to teach me. This visit was no exception. Love him! As it was now his turn for a few posed photos, he was agreeable to sitting for a few. Then he was off like a shot running and playing with his little brother.

I made sure to run, jump, crouch, make noises, and anything else necessary to capture a fleeting moment as these two brothers played. It can be hard to contain such unobliterated energy as these two join forces and seem to be able to go non stop for quite some time. Mom and dad managed to get Alex and Max to join them for some family photos. HURRAY! I snapped away to make sure I had the moments they were sharing.

We finished our time together with a few shots gathered at the barn area of the park.

I was able to capture Alex for a few more shots of him alone. Max was done with me and the shot only of him. He was on to bigger and better things than sitting for me! Lastly, we able to sit the boys down for 5 minutes gave us the opportunity to capture the family of four once more. So really sweet photos came from those 5 minutes before the boys decided to hang it up.
