York PA Child Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the one year session of Nora at the studio in Jacobus, PA during July. This little girl kept me on my toes. So much energy and the most adorable smile!
As I was checking my monthly calendar as I so often do, I discovered it was that time to contact Nora’s momma and let her know it was time to think about scheduling her one session that includes a cake smash. This sweet girl was about graduate from her one year baby plan with me. Sadness takes over. Not because she’s about to celebrate her one year milestone but because I will not see Nora as often after this session. However, I’m happy at the same time to see how wonderfully she has grown and to see that beautiful smile & twinkling eyes.

We set out to custom design the setups for Nora.
She had a teal blue and purple tutu she would be wearing first. The setup was chosen to be neutral so that Nora’s colors would be the highlight next to her personality. Her happiness surely took over as we snapped away.
The next setup we chose the feminine stars backdrop. . Little miss Maeve LOVED the studio crate. She laughed and laughed as we worked with her to capture those smiles perfectly.
Nora did quite well posing with the numbers I have in the studio for O N E. Momma may choose to use a collage from and display those three photos as 5×7 prints. And momma even got in the setup with her.
Next up was the wonderfully messy part… THE CAKE SMASH! The cake was beautifully decorated by Jen May Cakes with teal blue and 2 shades of purple and moist chocolate cake inside. At first Nora wasn’t sure about her cake. She started gingerly with just the icing but after a while she got the hang of it. Such a sweet girl and had fun with her one year cake!
