The wedding of Katie & Mike was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. Their day at The Hanover Country Club was romantic, filled with happy emotions and lots and lots of love.
It was a truly beautiful day for this lovely couple. The day of their wedding was picture perfect weather. Warm and sunny, but not too hot as it was the last Saturday in June. As we arrived at The Hanover Country Club, we stopped for a few photos to begin telling Katie and Mike’s love story.
We greet the bride and her entourage in the private luncheon area. I then began to collect the bride’s special items and find an area to capture her details. From her her gorgeous engagement ring, to the personally made wedding ring holder, I arranged and captured all the items. I’m a sucker for details and they surely had quite a few unique items. 
Tthe finishing touches on Katie’s makeup was in full swing when I walked into the lower level bridal room. The other ladies were diligently working on their hair and makeup, sharing mirror space and giggling. Each of them were looking wonderful. However, the bride looked the most beautiful with her long, blonde tresses and radiant smile. Even the ring bearer was excited!
I loved the details and design of Mike’s wedding band. Very unique and eye-catching. The blending of all the rings designed for these two was perfect to showcase their love.
I left the girls to join the groom’s staging area in another part of the clubhouse. However, by the time I arrived they had already made their way to the bar to have a few drinks and calm any nerves. If Mike was nervous, I couldn’t tell. This groom was cool and collected. We did arrive back at the staging area and captured a few indoor photos before we made our way outside to enjoy some time with the picturesque surrounds of the Country Club. Much laughter and antics unfolded before my lens. What a fun bunch!

The girls were ready for their photos. Katie was also calm and collected. Just maybe a few butterflies but her girls kept her busy and happy. What beauties they were in front of my lens.
Last minute moments…
Katie & Mike wanted to do the traditional wedding with the groom seeing the bride for the first time walking down the aisle on the arm of her father. WOW! What a moment. Mike was so taken with Katie that he cried. He wiped away quite a few tears as Katie arrived at the gazebo where her grandfather was waiting to perform the ceremony.
Katie & Mike had a wonderful ceremony. Her grandfather filled it with wonderful moments, truly reflecting the special love that they share. Both Katie’s mom and Mike’s mom even had a few emotional moments that I was honored to capture in my lens.
Katie & Mike ushered their family and friends to the comfort of Hanover Country Club ballroom as their bridal party made our way to the picturesque grounds. Such love and fun entwined during these photos.
The bride and groom stole away for 20 minutes, with the aid of Julia and her golf cart. We just had to capture the new Mr. & Mrs. by the gorgeous stone bridge. They couldn’t stop laughing and enjoying each other. I love watching these moments unfold. Such great photos for their album!
Details, details, details. These are some of the best ways to compliment a wedding day story. Allowing enough time in the wedding day photo itinerary will insure I can capture these moments for a couple.
