The wedding of Vanessa & Tom was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. Their day at The Hotel Hershey was nothing short of a fairy tale. The bride and groom permeated the entire place with so much and affection for each other. What a truly wonderful wedding.
As the weather forecast predicted a touch of rain, Vanessa was peering out the window of the bridal suite with deep hope things would change. When we arrived we assured her no matter what the weather was to come, capturing beautiful forever images would definitely happen. And their wedding day become magical.
After greeting all the stunning ladies during their hair and makeup prep, I began to collect the bride’s special items and find an area to capture her details. Just down the hall I found a room with spectacular light. Light I knew would set off all of Vanessa’s items. From her her stunning wedding gown, to the ribbon and bling bouquet, I arranged and captured all the items. I truly believe details enhance the love story of each couple.
As I returned to the bridal suite, I found Vanessa receiving her final touches of makeup. Her ladies were buzzing in and out of the room with tasks. These girls were on it! I adore when a bride has an entourage that truly caters to their bride. It relieves stress and lets her concentrate and take in the beginning of her wedding day.
I was afforded the opportunity to capture Vanessa putting her final thoughts together on paper, the things we wanted to say to Tom during the vows. 
Getting dressed was so much fun! Ladies laughing, giggling, and telling stories. The memories will last forever for Vanessa.
The girls formal photos beckoned me to yet another beautiful location for their photos. The grandness of the Hotel Hershey provided the perfect backdrop for such lovely ladies.
I left the girls to join the groom’s area down the hall. They were settling in and prepping all the important items. First of which was the beverages of choice for each. I gathered items and captured details just before they began their wardrobe preparation.
I loved the details and design of Tom’s wedding band. So much goes into designing and selecting wedding rings and bands for a couple. It’s yet another one of the details I love to capture. Oh yeah… AND REALLY COOL SOCKS!
The guys were jovial and animated while getting ready. They couldn’t wait to toast the groom and the next chapter of his life.
As not to be upstaged by the ladies, we make our way to the same grand location for their formal photos. The laughing and antics continued where ever these gents went. So much fun!
Vanessa & Tom opted for a first touch. The groom was adamant with me that he would not spoil the moment for himself seeing his bride for the first time walking down the aisle. The first touch was emotion filled, and it also help these two talk a bit and get a few butterflies released. There was even a prayer blessing that brought them calm.
Last minute moments…
The groom lost his composure a bit seeing the stunning beauty of his bride. When she reached him though he broke out in the biggest smile.
Vanessa & Tom had a wonderful ceremony. It was filled it with wonderful love as they become Mr and Mrs. 
Vanessa & Tom ushered their family and friends to the comfort of the Hotel Hershey ballroom as their bridal party made our way outside. They rain took a break, giving us a bit of time to capture outside photos. Such love and fun entwined during these photos. I couldn’t stop laughing!
The bride and groom stole away for 20 minutes. Vanessa really wanted photos outside using the wonderful grounds of the Hotel Hershey. We had bunches of fun while capturing some really cool photos they wanted in their album.
Details, details, details. These are some of the best ways to compliment a wedding day story. Allowing enough time in the wedding day photo itinerary will insure I can capture these moments for a couple.
Such a lovely first dance that was filled with emotion. These two didn’t even know they weren’t alone in the room.
Fun toasts! Lots of laughter from the guests.
The wedding cake looked as good as it tasted. No cake smash here! Sweetly fed each other for the first time as newlyweds.
The dance floor was busy all night!
