The wedding of Ashley & Jeff was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. Their day at Honeysuckle Ridge was adorned with loving details and lovely weather.
The bride and groom chose the picturesque location of Honeysuckle Ridge which is tucked into the beautiful countryside of southern York County. The venue was the perfect setting for Ashley and Jeff to become Mr. and Mrs. by the lake surrounded by those that mean the most to them.
My assistant and I arrived and quickly ran into Jeff and a few of his men. They were smiling and having a great time already. The girls were due to arrive at any time from the hair & makeup preparations off site so we decided to begin with the guys in the groom’s room.
The guys were in full merriment in the groom’s room. Smiles and laughter appeared before my lens as they had so much fun together! These guys were so great, we loved working with them.
I left the guys to join the bride and her girls in the bridal suite. I then began to collect the bride’s special items and find an area to capture her details. From the stunning gown, to the sparkly sandals, I arranged and captured all Ashley’s items. Details set the stage for the story of a couple’s wedding day. Each one chosen to express who they are as individuals and their story as a couple.
The girls were ready for their photos. Ashley was also calm and collected. Just maybe a few butterflies but her girls kept her on task and looking gorgeous. I ushered everyone out of the room to give the bride a few moments alone with me, capturing some photos of just her. This also gave her a breather as everyone wanted to see her and take in the beauty of Ashley. These photos are sure to please the groom.
Ashley and Jeff wanted to do a First Touch. WOW! What a moment. It’s a great way for a couple to talk and touch each other before the walk down the aisle. It can help with anxiety and calm nerves. These two were all smiles and the pastor even performed a blessing. A First Touch doesn’t steal away seeing the bride for the first time walking down the aisle too. We just planned this into the wedding day timeline to make sure time was carved out in their day.
Ashley and Jeff had a wonderful ceremony. The weather was beautiful as they took their vows and also tied the knot. Filled with so many personal touches, it was very moving for everyone in attendance.
Ashley and Jeff ushered their family and friends to the cocktail hour in the barn as their bridal party made our way to the picturesque grounds. Such love and fun entwined during these photos.
The bride and groom stole away for 30 minute. We just had to capture the new Mr. and Mrs. by the lake. They couldn’t stop laughing and enjoying each other. I love watching these moments unfold. Such great photos for their album!
Details, details, details. These are some of the best ways to compliment a wedding day story. Allowing enough time in the wedding day photo itinerary will insure I can capture these moments for a couple.
Such a special first dance. These two couldn’t hold each other any tighter as they spoke lovingly to each other.
Ring details are an obsession for me. Each couple is different and I like to entwine their rings with the story of the day.
Such a beautiful cake. What started out as sweetly feeding each other quickly turned into a huge smash of cake. And Jeff started it!
Time for the bouquet and garter toss. What a fun time!
Dance… Dance… DANCE!
