York PA Child Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the three year session of Thomas at the studio in Jacobus, PA during August. This little guy was entertain and fun. So much energy and the most adorable smile!
Thomas first appeared in front of my lens as a newborn. And I instantly fell in love with that little peanut in his first few weeks of life. I’ve been blessed with seeing him throughout the past few years.
I was checking my monthly calendar one day and I discovered it was that time to contact his momma and let her know I was thinking of Thomas and a yearly milestone session for him. I was sad I had not seem him for some time. So this meant I had a chance to see him smile and experience his exuberant personality. His momma thought is was a great idea! So we began to plan a session celebrating his third birthday.
When the day finally came and Thomas arrived, I greeted him with reserved exuberance because I knew he’s always a bit reserved when he first arrives in the studio. That changed pretty quickly as this boy seemed eager to see me and show me the cars he brought with him to play with.
Blues and greens were the theme colors for Thomas and his three year session. Therefore momma and I chose blues, greens, and neutral colors for the setups. His splash of yellow on his outfit certainly fit his shining personality. I was sure to pull out the number 3 and get props fitting to Thomas including a chair and bucket.

With this spirited young boy there is almost always a bit of negotiating involved. As long as he got to show some of his power faces, I was afforded the chance to get his smiling faces. Surely a force to be reckoned with, that boy!
Before we could use the white bench prop for sitting, Thomas had a plan to take a short break and play cars. So WE DID! Between our huge belly laughs we made sure to release our cars and watch them fly down the bench. Some crashed and some rocketed back and forth. Always a great time to play.
