York PA Engagement Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured Allison & Stephen’s Engagement session two locations in Gettysburg. Their infectious smiles and genuine personalities shown brightly during our time together.
I met Allison and her mom in February at a local bridal show. As we talked, we developed a keen understanding of each other. After meeting with Allison and Stephen at the studio for their wedding consultation, I JUST KNEW we would be working together seamlessly. These two amaze me and I’m looking forward to capturing the most wonderful day of their lives in the winter of 2018.
Allison and Stephen chose an early Saturday morning at Sachs Covered Bridge in Gettysburg in which to begin their engagement session with me.
We positioned ourselves within the historically unique and old wood bridge. This place has a special meaning to this wonderful couple. So it was fitting to begin here. We ventured in front of the bridge next to be sure to have it as a background. We even found a puddle in which to reflect their image into my camera. So glad these two embraced my crazy thoughts and flow of ideas.
Next we moved to the nearby wooded area. These created the most romantic and emotion-filled photos without almost zero encouragement from me. They were so much in love this day and it showed. Once again finding water for reflections, it made for great photos. And not to worry, this detail driven photog was sure to give them a break as I captured Allison’s stunning ring.
We then traveled down the road a few miles into the heart of Gettysburg in the downtown district. Many shops and architectural buildings line the streets.
All three of us gravitated to the Gettysburg Railroad Station. A very historic place filled with many photo caveats. These two worked it well! Giving me great smiles, some fabulous poses, and most of all… showed their true love for each other. Laughter and snuggling seemed to be what they really wanted to do by this point. Feeling as ease and comfortable, it was a great end to what seemed like a really short session.
Their beautiful love story shines through their photos. There’s no question that their winter wedding next year will be wonderfully romantic. Congratulations Allison and Stephen!
