Meet newborn… Ms. Stella! What a wonderful, wonderful newborn baby girl. From the time she arrived in the studio until she left, Stella was a complete dream for this photographer. But, let me back up and fill you in on the time leading up to the day of her newborn session.
I met Stella’s parents and older brother a few years ago. 2014 to be exact. Grandmother Pat gifted a session to her daughter and family as they were beginning a new chapter in their life in buying a new home. However, before they left that home she wanted to have photos of the family. That’s when Stella’s big brother, Jack, and I met. A delightful boy with a quiet personality. We’ve seen each other every spring since 2014.
Then the call came… Mom and Dad were expecting baby number 2 and Jack’s little sister. We decided a 2 session collection was perfect for them. It was a family maternity session and a family newborn session.
Mom and I planned Stella’s session with pinks, grays and whites to complement her nursery decor. We also used appropriate props, accessories and backdrops. I love to plan the custom session with my clients as it gives them the perfect forever photos that will be cherished for years to come.
Stella and big brother Jack both did wonderfully for her session. She accepted just about any pose my assistant and I tried. And Jack was so proud to be part of Stella’s session. Even Gram was part of the session as this family is very close and involved with each other. What a wonderful time we had that day.
