The wedding of Aimee & Steve was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. Their wedding day at the Country Club of York was that of a fairy tale. The weather was beautiful and the backdrop amazing. Just look at their photos and you will see that Batman has found his Princess.
The Country Club of York is a venue that provides vistas and elegance to the wedding day of a bride and groom. Aimee and Steve fell in love with this magical place last year. We arrived the day of their wedding with beautiful weather and ready to capture wedding photos that told their love story.
The groom and his guys were having so much fun when I first joined them in their getting ready area. It was fun getting them rounded up and ready for photos to be captured outdoors. But first we captured some of the hilarity indoors.
Steve is a HUGE batman fan. Did I say HUGE? So it was no surprise that he and the men all were sporting superhero shirts under their formal attire. We had so many laughs together. And we even had many passersby from the golf tournament enjoying their fun photos as well.
I walked into the bride’s getting room to find the ladies relaxed and jovial. I began to collect all of the brides special items and found a great spot by a window for perfect light. Light is very important when capturing details for a bride. Each item had meaning to Aimee and I wanted to make sure to capture these details. Details are some on my favorite things as it tells a small story to a bride and grooms love life.
That ring! Those flowers! The jewelry and shoes! A perfect fit for a Princess.
After the girls were all dressed, we made sure to capture some elegant photos of them together. The getting ready room was gorgeous as the backdrop. Also providing a cool room for the ladies to relax. Outside was a bit warm on this day in June . Each of Aimee’s attendants are very special to her and capturing those relationships is very important. Much fun and many laughs. LOVE IT!
Isn’t Aimee just a stunning bride! WOWZA!!! We spent a few minutes alone to capture her portraits.
Ceremony details are very, very important as no two wedding and no two couples are the same. Each wedding has a beautiful story to be told by the details the bride and groom chose. Allowing time in the photo timeline for wedding and reception details is crucial to capturing these items that tell more about a love story.
The bride was ready to begin her final preparation for the ceremony. I captured the love and moments with her parents just before she gathered with her ladies to begin the procession.
Aimee and Steve were both ready to see each other for the very first time! The groom began to get teary eyed seeing his very gorgeous bride being escorted by her father.
Aimee and Steve’s wedding ceremony was beautifully expressive to their love and their uniqueness. They both wrote heartfelt wedding vows that made their family and friends both cry and laugh. They also chose to have a whiskey box portion added to their ceremony. This box will be opened on their fifth wedding anniversary and they will read the personal love letters they wrote to each other. Such a special addition!
This groom really knows how to strut the aisle to Uptown Funk!
Love the details of this reception. Pinks and gold, very lovely together.
The new Mr & Mrs Bruce sent their family and bridal party off to the reception as we capture their bridal portraits outside of the gorgeous Country Club of York. They were so happy to be married, FINALLY!
The bride and groom made their grand entrance to the reception in Green Bay style. One of their passionate interests. Be sure to to also check out the most unique groom wedding band I’ve EVER SEEN! Batman logo on one side, Green Bay logo on the other side. And the inside was Green Bay GREEN!
After dinner, the newlyweds and I stole a few moments away from all the merriment to capture more photos outside by the stone facade they like so much about the Country Club of York.
What a terrific grand exit for Aimee & Steve. Glow sticks, cheese head, Batman, and even a cheese championship belt. Details of Aimee & Steve’s day were inspiring, from the very start to the very end. What a joy to capture and document. Thank you for entrusting us to be there with you!
Wishing the new Mr. & Mrs. Bruce a lifetime of happiness and abundant love. May you “live happily ever after.”
