The wedding of Allison & Stephen was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. A wonderful day for a wonderful couple. Filled with love, laughter and lasting memories.
As far as winter weddings go, this was truly a wedding for the story books. The weather had become slightly warmer than it had been the previous weeks and the sun was playing peek-a-boo most of the day. Allison & Stephen couldn’t have asked for a better day for their wedding!
I greeted the bride and her entourage in the lower level staging room. I collected the bride’s special items and went to the church parlor to capture her details. From her gorgeous engagement ring, to the specially made ring bearer pillows, I arranged and captured all the items. I’m a sucker for details and they surely had quite a few unique pieces. Allison made sure her details told their love story through these items. Much thought and planning went into them and I was sure to capture the items for her.
Groom and groomsmen preparations were in full swing. The suspenders were chosen as a special memory for the groom of someone he loved dearly. The guys had a ton-o-fun outside with my second photographer, Chelsea. I’m told laughter and fun were at the top of their to-do list.Everything about these girls screams WONDERFUL! Allison was so well cared for on her wedding day. Loved the chalkboards telling how they new the bride. Nice touch. The guys walked down the street in Hanover to release a bit of steam after their photos outside the church.Last minute moments before Allison gets to see her groom for a First Look. What a gorgeous bride. Inside and out. After giving it some thought, Allison & Stephen chose to do a first look about a month before their wedding. I feel it was a good choice. These two had the greatest first look. And we captured it from both viewpoints. The beauty of having two photographers at your wedding. We can get more for you!The bride and groom planned some time in the itinerary to have some private time and private photos after their first look. St. Matthew’s Church was the perfect background for them. The girls were ready for their photos. Allison was feeling fine after her first look with Stephen. First looks take away nerves and can ease anxiety.Bridal party fun!Last minute moments filled with fun and laughter. These two were so cute, my second photographer and I couldn’t stop chuckling.Even though Allison & Stephen had a phenomenal first look, it still didn’t take away from the grand entrance of the bride walking down the aisle on the arms of her parents to her groom. Stephen still felt the moment and took in her beauty. This couple had a wonderful ceremony. Filled with wonderful moments, truly reflecting the special love that they share. We captured the ceremony from two different locations, the sanctuary floor and the balcony above. It’s one of the great things when a couple contracts us for two photographers. Details, details, details. These are some of the best ways to compliment a wedding day story. Allowing enough time in the wedding day photo itinerary will insure we captured these moments for the happy couple. The grand entrance of the newlyweds brought everyone to their feet! I think they may have practiced this, lol!Allison’s father gave a very moving toast to his daughter and new son-in-law. The love this man has for his family is deep. There was laughter as he brought out his parchment scroll and tears as he thanked everyone for helping during his difficult times in recent years.Wedding ring details are one of my favorite details to capture. It really expresses the love and personality of the newly married coupleThe maid of honor expressed concern following the father of the brides speech. I don’t think she had a thing to worry about because the couple loved her every word. The best man delivered a great speech as well.Such a beautiful cake created by Cakes by Amy. Allison & Stephen feed each other sweetly, however Allison become a little rambunctious towards the end. Surrounding laughter ensued. Such a cute moment.First dance and the new Mr. & Mrs. Munchel. The dance party was non stop! The dance floor was always full as Great Scott Productions kept the party hopping with the songs Allison & Stephen chose for their guests.
Wishing the new Mr. & Mrs. Munchel lifetime of happiness and abundant love. May you “live happily ever after.”
