York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the Atkins Family session at Sam Lewis Park in York County. The kids were a blast and the adults enjoyed themselves!
I started working with part of the Atkins family a few years ago. Then another part of the Atkins family joined the photo fun! And now I have the pleasure to capture both brothers, their families, and there mom. I couldn’t be happier to have this dear, sweet family as part of the Royce Images Photography family. We’ve become close over the years, and now the entire family wanted a full family session. FUN!
As luck would have it, Jordan’s family came north from Florida for a family visit. I was delighted when they contacted me to set up a time for their session.
The morning we met for the session was beautiful. Sun and clouds played nicely across the summer sky. This provided such beautiful light. Even though it was very warm, each one of them took it in stride. We kicked off the session with the three brothers. And boys will be boys! We had a trio of adventure seekers so we tried our darnedest to keep them focused. Such brotherly love as you can see in the photos. Seeing as Jayce had a brand new baby sister whom had her newborn session with me the week before, he was solo for his sibling photo.
We made sure to capture the family together as well as the kids. And we created lifetime images.
Oma (grandma) was the star of the show when we started the full family photos. She was so beautiful, inside and out. Her pride just beamed through the entire time we spent together. Oma had photos with the entire family, each individual family, and all her precious grandchildren. I don’t think I could have removed the smile from her face even if I tried. THESE MOMENTS are the ones that give me the greatest joy as a photographer. Capturing her precious family, bringing her so much joy.
There were vibrant moments, full of the wild craziness of boys. And then there were quick moments, full of love. And of course, TONS OF LAUGHS. I couldn’t believe how fast our time came to an end.
