York PA Engagement Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the engagement photos of Corinne & Tad at John Rudy Park in York, PA on a beautiful day in November. Love filled the air as well as tons of laughs.
“A friend is always good to have, but a lover’s kiss is better than angels raining down at me.”
Some will recognize this from a Dave Matthews Band song. It’s what came to mind as I photographed these two lovers recently for their engagement.
Corinne and Tad are a natural fit for each other. I could tell that from the moment I met them. The fleeting glances Tad gives to Corinne convey the deep admiration and love he has for his bride-to-be. I began by photographing the detail shots of their rings with the surrounding natural areas. I brought along the studio scrabble tiles for the photo you see below spelling about the word “LOVE”. I then photographed the engagement ring on a few branches, sticks, and grasses. Corinne and Tad settled into the session well as we began with the natural evergreen-lined path. Their personalities were great whether they were seated on the blanket, smooching (and laughing), or walking up and down the path. As we ventured around the park, we came across a split rail fence that lent itself to different and engaging photos. Of course, we had to use the chalkboard prop I brought along to announce their wedding date.
We moved to the final location utilizing the weathered red barn. A great backdrop for some wonderful photos. These two became pros in posing, as they fell right into each other. They got into a giggle fit which pulled me right in and we couldn’t stop laughing for a few minutes. Corinne and Tad got a good taste of what to expect from me as their wedding photographer for when I capture their wedding next fall. There’s no question that their wedding next year will be incredibly sentimental, romantic and filled with great love. I cannot wait to capture their special day. Congratulations Corinne and Tad!
