York PA Engagement Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured Dani & Waylon’s Engagement session at the beautiful and historic Wallace Cross Mill in Southern York County.
I’ve known Dani since she was a very young girl. I adored her then and I adore her now. As life would have it, we lost touch for many, many years. However, when she became engaged to the love of her life last year, she & Waylon ecstatically began to plan their wedding day. She was referred to me by a family friend and we once again connected. Seeing her all grown up as a strong, independent woman hit me in the feels. I was so happy for her and the little family she & Waylon are about to join together this fall.
The day was beautiful and the weather along with the beautiful evening light yielded great session photos.
We gathered by the historic Wallace Cross Mill lawn and discussed the visions for the session. Before long we ventured over the the tall flowing grasses, touched with golden hues by the warm sunlight. These two immediately began to fall into poses gracefully. They wanted to include the three kids in the session as well since all five of them will become one family soon. The minion shirts were the perfect complement to their glowing personalities. We excused the kids to go play while we worked our way around the grounds. We made use of the unique backdrop in so many ways as shown in the photos below. One of the ‘must-have’ photos that Dani wanted to capture was reflection photos by the water. When she & Waylon saw the back of my camera, they were very happy. I’m delighted that I could them the photos they wanted that will last a lifetime.
We finished our time together with landscape photos.
All I asked of Dani & Waylon was to walk together up the hill, talk to each other, and have fun. I couldn’t hear a single word however by this point these two lovebirds were having so much fun. I could see them playfully encouraging each other up the hill. I could see huge laughter from both Dani & Waylon. This made my heart sing with joy.
There’s no question that their wedding this fall will be incredibly elegant, sentimental and extremely romantic. Congratulations Dani & Waylon!
