York PA Child Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the one year session of Kaleigh at Lake Williams and in the studio in Jacobus, PA in October. The session was fun and filled with laughter.
I remember the day quite well when Kaleigh’s momma contacted me about capturing the one year milestone for this sweet, adorable little girl. I was so excited! We discussed at great length through email the vision and creative ideas that she had. We worked together to create a unique session for Kaleigh to celebrate her one year with forever images.
Our time together started at Lake Williams in Jacobus. It was a perfect early fall afternoon with glorious warm light. Momma brought along balloons and basket to create the setting for Kaleigh you see below. I brought along a child’s white chair and the realistic stump from the studio. We had an outfit change to give Kaleigh some different looks during the outdoor portion of her session.
We headed to the studio next, only a 5 minute drive from Lake Williams. One of the reasons I love where my studio is located, near so many of nature’s outdoor locations to capture photos. Inside we captured the classic shots every parent likes with the letters O – N – E. Kaleigh was so adorable in her little ONE outfit. Everything coordinated very well with the backdrop and her outfit. Next came time for the CAKE SMASH! Always my favorite, as each child treats cake differently. Momma brought the custom made cake, the outfit, headband, necklace and paper flowers. Momma’s very good at this prop and accessories thing. YAY! My Kaleigh seemed to like her cake and I captured some darling photos of her working her way from the icing and down into the cake. What great fun we had.
