“All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.”
Most of you will recognize this from a very popular Beatles song. It’s what come to mind as I photographed these two lovebirds recently for their engagement.
Valentine’s Day may be in the month of February, but you would never know is was seven+ months after the engagement session for Katie and Matt! On this gorgeous day love was definitely in the air at the Nixon Park Nature Center. Their love shined through the shade of the ever-so-tall trees in image after image. It was hard to narrow down the favorites I share below.
When we began, they were giddy and smiling. Truly in love with each other and having fun showing me just how easily they could fall into poses with each other. They just KNEW what to do each time I began to guide them. They are the epitome of the perfect engaged couple. We had a blast together creating forever images that will be treasured for years to come. We laughed… we smiled… we shared stories… and before you knew it we reached the end of our time together. But you know something? It felt like these two were old friends. We were so comfortable around each other, and that made for a fantastic time. I’m so happy to have had the chance to work with these two!
There’s no question that their destination wedding next year will be incredibly elegant, sentimental and extremely romantic. Congratulations Katie and Matt!
