York PA Engagement Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the engagement photos of Lindsey & Gage along the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville, PA on a sunny, windy and rainy day in January. Yes, the weather was truly that dramatic. And as you will see in the photos, a double rainbow did appear.
“I don’t know how you do what you do, I’m so in love with you. It just keeps getting better. I want to spend the rest of my life, with you by my side, forever and ever.”
Some of you will recognize this from Amazed by Lonestar. It’s what came to mind as I photographed these two young lovers.
Lindsey made contact by email after finding me on Google. She was eager to work with a photographer who could provide exactly the custom session she desired. Instead of that chain photography place that makes people feel more like a number than a person. I was delighted I could help her achieve her desired ideas.
I met Lindsey and Gage by the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville, PA. The Susquehanna river is special to them because a few miles south is where Gage proposed. I was eager to capture photos that expressed their love of the river as well as their love for each other. The days was sunny but a bit chilly. We started by the old furnace nearby that feature old, weathered brick arches and natural accents of greens. We were having a great time when the clouds rolled in. We captured a few more shots in the open air before the drops began to fall. We moved inside the arches. We laughed and scoffed at the weather as we kept shooting. After the rain we were rewarded with a double rainbow. SWEET!
We worked by the river side capturing photos by the large tree with golden grasses and moss covered rocks. I gathered their wedding rings they brought along with them. I showcased their rings amongst the gorgeous natural setting. We moved to our final location even closer to the river’s edge. These two could stay away from each other, it was very sweet to witness. Lindsey and Gage were pros by the end of their session. They could fall into poses without any direction and knew just when to gaze lovingly at each other. What a dream session for the photog!
There’s no question that their wedding be incredibly elegant, sentimental and extremely romantic. Congratulations Lindsey and Gage! It was a pleasure to work with you.
