The Lucas boys are so adorable. When I received an email from their mother this spring about booking a session for the family and for the one year birthday of Max, I was so happy. Alex and Max are such a joy to see and to capture.
I meet this family of four on a nice, warm spring day at one of my favorite local parks. This particular park has such a beautiful backdrop for almost any session. I brought along a few props and accessories to complement the outfits of the family and for the one year birthday photos for dear sweet Max. I adore these two boys and I couldn’t wait to see them.
Alex is a very interesting young boy. He never is at a loss for words and our conversations are never dull. He was sure to tell me about about his friends, school, and the upc0ming family vacation to Florida. I always learn a great deal about him and how he is growing and evolving. His energy is also boundless. So when I photograph his younger brother I must always keep in mind to work Alex into the scene. I like to ask him to be my assistant because he is very good at helping me stay steady and so that I don’t fall over. He likes the task. Well, at least for a little while. Ha ha.
As we worked through both boys and the entire family, we laughed and we smiled together. And in the end we have some great photos of that day. Check them out below.
