York PA Senior Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured Nate for his high school senior session in the studio and on location in the York County area. Documenting this milestone session for Nate and his parents was an honor and a pleasure!
Nate’s mom contacted me during the summer about having me capture his senior photos for him. I believe capturing this time in your child’s life is very important. They only graduate high school once in a lifetime.
Senior Nate and I began our time together in my studio. His parents wanted some photos of him in his suit and his graduation gown.
The photos in the studio can be more formal or casual. Whatever you desire. And by the looks of the resulting photos, I believe Nate NAILED IT! He was calm about the studio time and we captured a sliver of his quiet demeanor.
Next Nate and I traveled nearby to the Lake Williams area near the studio.
A bright, warm morning with sunshine peaking between the trees gave us a wonderful treat and a perfect backdrop for Nate. As he settled into the poses in the area we mutually chose, that million dollar smile appeared. What a natural he became in front of my lens.
After a brief wardrobe change, Nate grabbed his favorite prop that he wanted for his session. Golf is a significant part of Nate’s life, and I was glad he chose to bring along his custom bag and his clubs. We even made sure to include his letter varsity jacket.
We finished our time together in the adjacent area near the edge of the lake.
I’m always looking for creative ways to use the surrounding areas to highlight and feature my clients. With Nate’s casual attire, we created some depth for his photos with the use of high grass and a patch of trees. The colors of his shirt and the grass complimented well. And finally we ended our session together by the water on the dock. Nate was fully into it now and that smile of his seemed brighter than the sun.
I’m very glad Nate and his parents were please with the photos. The prints and mounted print they purchased with the senior collection will surely be treasured for years to come.
