Meet newborn… Miss Olivia!
Olivia’s momma was referred to me by another dear client of mine. The highest compliment I could ever receive as a photographer. Momma and I met for an in-person studio consultation around week 32 of her pregnancy to discuss Olivia’s upcoming newborn session. We talked about her nursery colors of purple and grey, momma’s desire to have a Christmas setup since Olivia was due just before that, and to choose backdrops, props and accessories. These consultations produce a wonderful custom and personalized session by working together with parents to design the photos with their wants and desires.
The day of Olivia’s newborn session, this sweet babe was truly enjoyable from start to finish. Her momma contacted me just after she was born and we scheduled her newborn session to happen only days later. I was excited when the day finally arrived for me to meet this new little girl.
Dear sweet Olivia was a very determined young lady at first and it took some time to convince her to drift off to sleep. Eventually she was convinced to dream her baby dreams as my assistant soothed her and watched over her as I began captured her stunning beauty in her photos. She slept peacefully as we moved her to each setup. We began with the blossoms set, then moved to the ever so sweet Christmas set, and finished with the purple and gray set. The final set is where momma especially fell in love with her baby girl’s photos. She rocked the headband, really became regal with the crown, and melted our hearts when lovingly embracing the gray teddy bear. At the end, my assistant and I knew this little rock star had nailed her session!
When these photos are printed they will look so wonderful in her nursery at home. Please enjoy a few my favorites from Olivia’s session.
