York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured kids and families with jolly, ole Saint Nick at the studio in Jacobus, PA. Santa, Mrs. Claus, my assistant and I had a great time and quite a few laughs.
2015 was the third year Santa Claus came to visit us at the studio. We love to have Santa, Santa loves to make an appearance, and the families love him. He surely is the jolly elf. His silvery hair and beard fascinate the small children every year as he gazes at them through his gold, wire-rimmed glasses. His pristine white gloves and shiny black boots are always prepared with care when he arrives. As he takes his place in his special chair, he settles in for a long day of visiting with each and every child, each and every family that he is honored to see. Santa loves the kids most especially.
Santa always begins each session talking to the kids about what they want for Christmas. Some of the kids this year brought along letters to Santa. He read each one with enthusiasm! Santa likes to read his famous story, Twas The Night Before Christmas. A few of the children become totally entranced by Santa as he reads with each page and stops to talk to them in between. This year we even had some ‘big’ kids talk to Santa on his knee. One was home from basic training and had big dreams of what he wanted for Christmas under the tree this year. His family and all of us in the studio couldn’t stop laughing! It was stuff memories are made of!
As we finished for the day, Santa was so happy to have had some many children come see him. He is extremely excited for next year when he visits the children again in the studio.
