York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the Schap Family in the studio for their Spring session and Leyna’s 3 Year Milestone session.
The Schap Family has been coming to me for three years. I first met them when Leyna had her one year milestone session. The next time I had the priviledge was for Hope when she was graduating high school and celebrated the occasion with a senior portrait session. Leyna also visited me for her two year milestone session. Now came the time to capture the entire family together and also document Leyna’s third birthday with a milestone session.
As the family arrived inside the lobby doors, I could see how beautiful Leyna was dressed in her perfectly pink dress. She remembered me and we had a little chat. Just behind her came Hope with the family dog, Buddy. Buddy was very excited to meet me for the first time and I surely fussed over him as I’m an animal lover and a firm believer that fur children as very important as well. And finally, mom and dad were in the back smiling as the girls and buddy entered the studio.
We began with the session the excitable Buddy followed directly with Miss Leyna. She graciously posed so beautifully for me and smiled sweetly as well as some more serious faces as well. Mom and Leyna had a few photos together before moving onto photos of only Hope. Hope knows how I work and also knows how to work the camera very well. As we gathered the entire family for their group photo, Buddy was very patient through his excitement. He was very good for a young dog.
It was time to capture a few photos of mom and dad together as they haven’t had photo together for some time. I do firmly believe it’s vital to capture parent photos so that the photos help create the legacy they are leaving for their children and grandchildren that will come along some day. Mom & dad fitted so well together and seem to actually enjoyed posing once we got into the swing of things. To finish the session, we focused on Miss Leyna posing with a spring setup and a number three to document this milestone for her.
