The wedding of TaTyana & Andy was captured by York PA Wedding Photographer, Royce Images Photography. Their day at Liberty Forge was special, filled with many personal touches and filled with abundant love.
Their wedding day forecast was calling for clouds and possible storms. The cloud cover was welcomed to keep the hot June day a bit cooler. The storms stayed away and eventually the sun made an appearance. It was a truly beautiful day for this lovely couple.
I walked into the bride’s getting room at the Lodge at Liberty Forge to find TaTyana getting the finishing touches on her makeup by her sister. The other ladies were diligently working on their hair and makeup in the adjacent ladies rest room. Each of them were looking wonderful. However, the bride looked the most beautiful of all!
I began to collect the bride’s special items and find an area to capture her details. From her strappy, sparkling shoes to her exquisite headpiece, I arranged and captured all the items.

I left the girls to join the groom’s staging area in another part of the Lodge. These guys were already laughing, smiling, and letting off a bit of steam. Perfect! They were relaxed and being themselves. As they helped Andy make his final attire preparations, a few beverages and partaking brought on even more fun.
We made our way outside and began to locate the best area for them to have their personalities tell the story. These guys were so great, we loved working with them
The bride was ready to begin her final preparation for her first look with her groom. I captured the moments leading up to the big reveal. She was just glowing with her stellar smile and natural beauty.
Not to be upstaged by the guys, the girls had fun also with their photos.
TaTyana and Andy were now ready for the big moment… THE FIRST LOOK! We positioned them strategically and let the rest of the moment unfold. Andy and I were talking until his bride became very close. He even waved at her before she walked to him. He seemed only slightly nervous. I think he was more excited than anything.
The first look, the tears, the hug, the kiss. All the things a First Look are made of. Such a goosebump moment for this photog!
TaTyana and Andy sent their family and bridal party off to the cooled comfort of Liberty Forge as we made our way to the gazebo area of the picturesque grounds. These lovebirds were enjoying each other and their moments together before they began their ceremony.
Details, details, details. These are some of the best ways to compliment a wedding day story. Allowing enough time in the wedding day photo itinerary will insure I can capture these moments for a couple.
Last minute moments…
Their ceremony was fun and loving. Andy was a bit eager to say his vows and place that wedding ring on TaTyana’s finger. Their family, friends and event they laughed about it. I’m sure he was thinking… “I’ve been waiting long enough for this moment, LET’S DO THIS!”
Such an emotion-filled first dance!

Cake smash fun! Their family and friends voted by monetary contribution who should get the most cake in the face. Cool touch.
After dinner, the newlyweds and I stole a few moments away from all the merriment to capture more photos on the beautiful grounds of the Lodge at Liberty Forge. It was well worth the time at dusk.
