York PA Family Photographer, Royce Images Photography, captured the Terwilliger Family session at John Rudy Park in York County. Mason & Olivia stole the session with their smiles and laughter.
The first time I worked with the Terwilliger Family was for sweet Olivia’s newborn session last December. Check out Olivia’s newborn session. She has become a sweet and adorable 7 month old. She sits up on her own now and smiles brightly. We began the session with Olivia, who was very interested in me. Her big brown eyes and cute expression won my heart all over again. Momma dressed her in a beautiful dress with a nice white ribbon headband. Next up was handsome Mason. Sir Mason was at first a bit shy and reserved with me. He hasn’t seen me for a few months. But in no time he and I became buddies. He’s quite the spitfire little boy. I worked a little harder to get him to make contact with my camera. He’s a boy on the go and before long he took off. Ha ha! We did manage to wrangle him so he & Olivia could have some brother and sister photos.
Delightful early evening light gave way to some gorgeous photos of this wonderful little family.
We wanted to make sure we captured some of the entire Terwilliger Family before little Olivia may run out of gas. We managed to capture some great, expressive photos of everyone. Mason & Olivia were have a grand time as momma and daddy looked on. We even tried some walking to and from the camera to capture them engaging with each other. Sir Mason was great and we had a small talk before we decided to move to the expansive open grassy area of the park.
We finished our time together in the grass with late evening light casting huge shadows.
The Terwilliger Family had perfectly coordinating outfits. And they worked extremely well with the park backdrop. I managed to capture Mason running and having fun before I captured him in the grass. He laughed and laughed as I tried to hold him with my feet. It’s always a challenge to wrangle a two year old. Ha! The family posed in the grass next with the gorgeous trees and sky in the background. I fired off about ten shots before Mason showed me his running skills again. So, Olivia had an outfit change while Mason ran circles around us, giggling all the way. Olivia closed out the session in her deep blue, polka dotted dress. Once again giving me those big brown eyes.
